Saturday May 17th at Tryon Life Community Farm 12:00- 4:00   This workshop will be an introduction to Permaculture Design. Permaculture is a branch of ecological design, ecological engineering, and environmental design that develops sustainable architecture and self-maintained agricultural systems modeled from natural ecosystems. In this workshop, we will explore ways that permaculture can be applied in the farm and garden setting and have an opportunity to get some hands-on project expereince.  We will build a new "no till" garden bed from start to finnish using a technique called sheet mulching, which is is an agricultural no-dig gardening technique that attempts to build soil by mimicing natural forests' processes. Suggested Donation $15-25.  Please RSVP to Ian Lamb, ianonwheels@gmail.com
